Quand’e’ `Id al-Adha 1436? Giovedì 24 Settembre 2015

`Id al-Adha è il decimo giorno del mese di Dhu al-Hijjah, il cui inizio dipende – come per ogni mese del calendario lunare islamico – dall’avvistamento effettivo della luna; vedi qui una serie di riferimenti sul metodo corretto.

Quest’anno Dhu al-Hijjah è iniziato Martedì 15 Settembre – in base all’effettivo avvistamento della luna nuova avvenuto in Sudafrica e Marocco la sera tra Lunedì 14 e Martedì 15:

“Sighting of the Hilal For Dhul Hijjah 1436
Efforts were made to sight the Hilal of Dhul Hijjah in the UK, all reported negative.
However we have had positive sighting from Morocco and South Africa.
Therefore the Wifaq ul Ulama announces that the 1st of Dhul Hijjah 1436 will be tomorrow Tuesday 15th September 2015. Eid al-Adha will fall on Thursday, 24th September 2015″.
